Extract employee job counts by workplace for Lower layer Super Output Area 2009 to 2021 and is the non-safeguarded version.
Description
This extract is employee job counts for industry and workplace from NOMIS Business Register and Employment Survey (BRES) of the number of jobs held by employees broken down by full or part-time and detailed industry, 5 digit Standard Industrial Classsifcation Code (SIC 2007). The survey records a job at the location of an employees workplace. For years prior to 2015, the figures include businesses registered for PAYE but not for VAT, so are not continuous with BRES datasets. This is a subset of dataset held in NOMIS called Business Register and Employment Survey (excluding units registered for PAYE only) : open access using Lower layer Super Output Area (LSOA) 2001. Inclusion of PAYE-only businesses is provided in the BRES News article 1062 on the NOMIS website.
